Andrew Hoffman is an Emmy Award winning television executive with more than 30 years’ experience in cable and broadcast news. During his career, Andy helped create and launch three cable networks in three diverse content areas: Fox Business Network, Court TV and Sports News Network. In his most recent position, Andy oversaw the creation of all live content for Yahoo Finance where he led a team of 50+ people producing 8 hours of daily live financial programming.
Previously, Andy held leadership roles at Good Morning America and CNBC. He was the control room producer during some of the biggest news events of that period, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the 2004 Indonesian earthquake and tsunami and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
His early career was spent at startups Sports News Network and Court TV, where he produced thousands of hours of live courtroom drama, including the high profile murder trials of the Menendez Brothers and O.J. Simpson.
Andy is a graduate of the University of Rochester and has a Masters Degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
